Patricia Gutierrez is a Senior Consultant at Kitamba. Prior to joining Kitamba, Patricia was a Special Education teacher at a charter high school in South Los Angeles, as part of the Teach for America Corps. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame and an M.A. in Urban Education (with a concentration in policy and administration) from Loyola Marymount University. Her studies gave her the opportunity to participate in literacy and mentorship programs for students in low-income communities of color and children in foster care. Patricia’s unwavering passion for equitable education emerges from her own immigrant experiences, as she believes it can transform the trajectory of students' lives.
