McKain Williams is a Consultant at Kitamba. She comes to Kitamba with 5 years of experience in the education sector as a special education teacher, case manager and treatment counselor in Affective Needs and Residential Treatment center settings serving students and families who have experienced trauma. In addition to hands on experience in the classroom, McKain has experience working on policy, data and strategy projects focused on addressing barriers to equitable resource and education access. McKain completed her Masters in Education from University of Denver with an emphasis in special education and her B.A. from Colorado College in Psychology. She is passionate about taking a human-centered approach to the creation of sustainable and equitable solutions to address challenges within the education sector, and is excited to use her experiences to help contribute to the work being done at Kitamba.
