Beatriz Motino is a Senior Consultant at Kitamba. Before joining Kitamba, Beatriz worked in higher education for 8 years, specifically with college access programs serving low-income, historically underrepresented, and underserved high school and college students. During her time in higher education, Beatriz oversaw and created initiatives and programs geared toward providing students with more academic, professional, and personal opportunities. Her experiences also range from academic coaching and counseling, tutoring, teaching, and high school recruitment and outreach. Beatriz holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and M.Ed in Mathematics Education from Rutgers University. As a first generation graduate, Beatriz is passionate about creating access and equity for all students and is excited to continue doing this work at Kitamba.
