Leah is a project manager in Kitamba's New York Office. She previously worked as Director of Operations at KIPP STAR Harlem Elementary in Harlem, New York. In this role, Leah served as a co-leader of the charter school, with responsibilities including finance, data management, human resources, technology, facilities management and school culture. Leah began her career at Center City Public Charter Schools specializing in curriculum and family engagement and was a Director of Special Projects at Uncommon Schools. She also brings experience as a consultant with UNICEF in the WASH department. Leah earned her B.A. in Anthropology from Vassar College and her M.P.A. from George Washington University. She is passionate about her work at Kitamba because she believes that every student and family should have access to every resource, opportunity and choice.
