Conor Troy is a Director in Kitamba's New York City office with expertise in teacher training, public policy, and data analysis. Before joining Kitamba, Conor worked as an academic dean and teacher trainer for two school networks in Kenya. Conor also served as a Policy Manager for the NYC Department of Education where he conducted quantitative analyses to assess the effectiveness of academic policy implementation across the city. Conor began his career teaching students from underserved families at St. Ignatius School in the South Bronx. Conor holds a Master’s in Education from Harvard University, a Master of Public Administration in Development Practice from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of Notre Dame. Conor firmly believes in the power of public education to foster a more just and equitable society where all children have the opportunity to thrive.
