Carys Meyer is a Project Manager in Kitamba's NYC office. Prior to joining Kitamba, Carys taught fifth grade English Language Arts at charter and traditional public schools in Brooklyn and Nashville, where she was a Teach for America Corps Member. She holds a B.A. International Studies and Sociology from Emory University and a Master of Arts in Secondary Literacy Instruction from Lipscomb University. While in college, Carys led an organization that connects Emory tutors and teacher’s assistants to public schools across Atlanta. She passionately believes all children deserve a quality education and looks forward to supporting organizations that help make this happen.
