Darius Whitney is a Consultant at Kitamba. Prior to working at Kitamba, Darius served as a College Liaison where he supported high school dual enrollment students attaining various certifications, diplomas, and associate degrees. When he wasn't working directly with students, Darius served on and led various councils and committees focused on making the college more accessible and equitable for students, faculty, and staff. Darius also served as a College Advisor, exposing high school students to post-graduation options and working with them through the process. He earned his BA in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a minor in African American Studies. As a first-generation college graduate, Darius believes in the transformation power of education and believes every student deserves access to all the resources they need to be successful. He is excited to contribute to Kitamba's work improving learning and life outcomes for all students.
