For example, Kitamba helped build the Supporting Teacher Effectiveness Project (STEP), through which educators from district and charter schools collaborated to identify high impact practices that improve student achievement.

When teachers are empowered to become the primary agents of change within their schools, students improve, as do relationships amongst teachers, students, and school communities.
